Gentleman called and wanted personal information-this is illegal

Called at least 3 times a day for the last week.

I.D.'d as Ziff Davis - I answered and after a short delay (probably a predictive dialer) a lady asked to speak to a person who was not here at the moment. I asked her who was calling, she gave me a female name only, and curtly asked again if the individual was available. When i offered to take a message, she curtly told me she would call back, and hung up.

Calls repeatedly over the course of the past two weeks. Never leaves a message. Attmpts to return the calls amount to busy sugnals or no connection. Probably just another in a slew of harrassing phone calls from jobless hackers with Indian accents claiming to be U.S. Federal agents informing me that all hell will break loose if I do not return their calls by a certain predetermined period of time. Blah, blah, blah! Do these people have no life whatsoever? We might be ugly Americans, but most of us are onto their bullsh*t!

Called but unanswered. Might be important call.

Calls every night. Request that calls be stopped.

This number calls at least once a day. When I answer whoever is at the other end hangs up!. This has been happening every day for 3 month!

Called asking if I wanted to reduce my credit card interest rate, would not tell me what card other than Visa/MC. I have called the number back just be asked if I want to be removed from their list.

Have received multiple calls from this number. Let vmail hand it; never any msg.

I recently reported them to the FTC and my State's Attorney's Office, Fraud division. This company outright refuses to send anything in writing and are violating the Fair Debt Collections act. Hopefully they will be shut down soon

four days in a row of calls in the afternoon. never leaves messages. answered the call twice, first time no response from other end, second time woman's voice on the line--i hung up due to inability to talk at the time.
